Prichard Cowboys

The Prichard Cowboys is a Palmer Williams Group youth development program that provides opportunities for youth in underserved communities to participate in sports. As of 2017, the Prichard Cowboys participates in competitive team sports in booth football and soccer.

The Prichard Cowboys is proudly associated with the Mobile Youth Football Conference (MYFC), an organization that places a major emphasis on fun and enjoyment for boys ages 4 – 13 interested in playing football. The Prichard Cowboys along with MYFC encourages, fosters, and promotes good sportsmanship and physical fitness through participation in team sports.

As you may know, youth football is one of the most popular sports in America. The costs associated with participating in the MYFC are significant. Our athletes and their parents work very hard throughout the season participating in various fundraising events, unfortunately, this covers a portion of our team’s expenses. The Prichard Cowboys feel that no child should ever be turned away from any local program because of the inability to pay.

More than 1.5 million kids participate in soccer, yet the City of Prichard does not have a single youth soccer team. Starting with the 2017 season, the Prichard Cowboys is committed to offering the youth in our community the opportunity to participate in soccer. The team is comprised of 20 boys and girls ages 4-8 that reside in Prichard.  Our team will play in one of the major youth soccer leagues in Mobile County.

We invite you to become a part of our Prichard Cowboys family by sponsoring a youth athlete in need of financial assistance. In doing this, you will make it possible for all of our young athletes to have a more successful season, in addition to supporting our local community. The Prichard Cowboys is one of the youth development programs that fall under the Palmer Williams Group (PWG). Because PWG is a nonprofit organization all donations are tax deductible (#45-5438173).
